Working in teams of 2 to 3 players per cell, you are handcuffed and shackled together. Your time to breakout is limited, the warden returns to complete his rounds in 45 minutes! Find out if you have what it takes to escape from a real jail cell. A heart stopping escape game for ages 16+ (must be accompanied by a playing adult for 16 and 17 year olds).

We have 10 jail cells. Don't worry we never place you in a cell with random players. Only your group is in your cell. Private bookings also available upon request, we can have up to 30 players participating at one time. Please call on 1300 661 565 for further information.

Itinerary

Welcome to Get Out Escape Rooms and our new escape game: JAIL BREAKOUT! Situated within the historic old Maitland Gaol, we bring you a thrilling and realistic live game experience.
You are handcuffed and shackled together and the door is padlocked. From this point you have 45 minutes to escape. Look for the hidden clues in and around your cell to help you achieve your objective: JAIL BREAKOUT!

Minimum group size is for 4 players (odd numbers will be divided up to 3 per cell)
Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your session start time.

The Maitland Gaol is located at 6-18 John Street, EAST MAITLAND. Please meet at the front gates and wait until Escape Room staff collect you from there. Do not go into the Maitland Gaol Reception Area.
