Day 1: Grampians

Learn about the history of the Gold Rush after the first discovery of gold in Ballarat in 1851.

Stop At: Bunjil's Shelter, Bunjil's Cave Road Black Range Scenic Reserve, Victoria 3381 Australia
The Bunjil Shelter, widely regarded as one of the most significant cultural sites in south eastern Australia and is the only rockart painting of Bunjil known.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Reed Lookout, Halls Gap, Victoria Australia
From the summit of reeds lookout you will receive stunning views over the entire Victoria Valley, Victoria Valley, Victoria Range, Serra Range, Lake Wartook and the Mt Difficult Range.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: The Balconies, Reeds Lookout Carpark, Victoria Australia
Wander through native shrubs and plant life along the path that leads up to the lookout, and then soak up the panoramic views of Victoria Valley and the surrounding ranges.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: MacKenzie Falls, Victoria Australia
Walk to the base of Mackenzie Falls to see the spectacular views as water cascades over huge cliffs into a deep pool, sending fine sprays of rainbow mist high into the air above a stunning gorge.

Stop At: Boroka Lookout, Mt Difficult Road, Halls Gap, Victoria 3381 Australia
Boroka Lookout provides panoramic views over Halls Gap and the east of the Grampians.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: The Pinnacle, Mt Victory Rd Sundial Carpark, Halls Gap, Victoria Australia
Marvel at the seemingly precariously peached boulders as you climb towards the Grand Canyon, smaller cousin of the American canyon. Listen to the peaceful trickle of Bridal Veil Falls before we reach The Pinnacle Lookout and admire the vast views of the Grampians.

Stop At: Halls Gap, Halls Gap, Grampians, Victoria
Halls Gap is the gateway to the Grampians National Park, known for its sandstone mountains, wildflowers and wildlife including echidnas, wallabies, kangaroos, koala’s and emus. Dunkeld is at the entrance to the southern Grampians, enjoying striking views of Mount Surgeon and Mount Abrupt.

Day 2: Great Ocean Road, 12 Apostles, Otway National Park

Stop At: Great Ocean Road, Great Ocean Road, Victoria
Enjoy one of Australia’s most scenic drives, the Great Ocean Road, an Australian National Heritage listed 243-kilometre stretch of road which winds alongside the wild and windswept Southern Ocean.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Twelve Apostles, Great Ocean Road, Port Campbell, Victoria 3269 Australia
The main stop for the tour – witness the rugged splendour of the famous 12 Apostles, magnificent rock stacks that rise up majestically from the Southern Ocean.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Gibsons Steps, Great Ocean Road Port Campbell National Park, Port Campbell, Victoria 3269 Australia
Here we make our way down to the beach via the 86 steps that were carved into the face of the cliff by local settler Hugh Gibson. Once on the beach you will be dwarfed by the 70-metre high vertical cliffs while getting up close to two giant limestone stacks rising up out of the sea known as Gog and Magog.

Stop At: Loch Ard Gorge, Great Ocean Road Port Campbell National Park, Port Campbell, Victoria Australia
Hear the story of Loch Ard Shipwreck and learn about the rich maritime history of the area while wandering the trails at Loch Ard Gorge. We will also take a walk onto the beach which is famous for its smooth clear blue water.

Stop At: London Bridge, west of Port Campbell on Great Ocean Road, Port Campbell, Victoria 3269 Australia
Our final stop for the day, London Bridge, which was a stack formed by a gradual process of erosion, and until 1990 formed a complete double-span natural bridge before it famously collapsed.

Enjoy a private tasting of the award-winning home-made cheese with the owner of this working dairy farm and enjoy some of their delicious homemade ice-cream.

Cape Otway is one of the best places in Victoria to spot local koalas in the wild away from the crowds.

Enjoy lunch at one our favourite local restaurants in Apollo Bay, a seaside village embraced by tranquil beaches, rolling green hills and the Great Otway National Park.

Stop At: Teddy's Lookout, George Street, Lorne, Victoria Australia
One of our favourite local photography spots, this lookout provides a spectacular view over the coastline with the Great Ocean Road snaking through the Otway National Park.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Erskine Falls Road, Lorne, Victoria 3232 Australia
Tumbling 30 metres down a rocky face in a fern filled rainforest setting. Erskine Falls drips with natural charm. It’s the most accessible of the regions waterfalls.

Stop At: Lorne, Lorne, Victoria
Enjoy afternoon tea at one our favourite local coffee shops in Lorne, one of Victoria’s most popular coastal towns.

Stop At: Great Ocean Road Memorial Archway, Great Ocean Rd 689/721 Great Ocean Rd, Lorne, Victoria Australia
One of the most photographed spots on the Great Ocean Road, this memorial acknowledges the challenges faced by workers during the construction of the road.
