After welcome drinks at the River House, we take a short hike to the cliffs above the ridge, for breathtaking views of where we're about to paddle. Then it’s back to the water for a full brief on the comfortable double sit-on-top kayaks, before we paddle our way up to explore the River. The towering sandstone cliffs and untamed bush make this a remarkable place to visit.

Hear the story of the river unfold over the course of the day. Explore historic Bar Island, with its ancient midden, old church, and forgotten cemetery. The oyster farms. Take a cool dip in a secret natural pool, or have a quick clamber to the base of a waterfall.
