Fly to the picturesque Huon Valley from Hobart to Huon River Jets to experience the thrill of jet boating on Australia’s only white-water rafting river. Huon River Jet Boats offer an exhilarating ride along 12km on the Huon River. The scenery along the way on this 35-minute experience is simply stunning. This jet-boating trip offers all the best thrills that come with this experience with 360-degree spins and breathtaking turns.

We offer complimentary pick up and drop off to all Hobart hotels, subject to availability. Your friendly pilot will provide a running commentary along the way pointing out all the major attractions and entertaining stories of Tasmania’s history.

Take a flight in our Turbine powered Bell Jet rangers, AS350B3 Squirrel, AS355 Twin Squirrel or EC130 B4  Eurocopter.

Enjoy a complimentary hotel pickup and transfer from your centrally located Hobart accommodation to our base at the airport. Before taking flight, take part in a short safety briefing. Then, you’ll be ready for your 150 minute scenic flight and Jet boat tour down the Huon River.

Taking off from our base at Hobart Airport, we take flight high over the city and Hobart’s waterfront, with stunning views of the picturesque Derwent River, the Tasman bridge and Hobart CBD. Mt Wellington provides the backdrop to Hobart and the views from the mountain towards the city offer magnificent photo opportunities.

We then land at Huon River Jet Boats for an exhilarating ride 12km down the Huon River. This jet-boating trip offers all the best thrills that come with this experience with 360-degree spins, white water rapids and breathtaking turns. A great way to learn about the Huon Valley as your guide will provide commentary along the way. 

Included in this experience is Morning or Afternoon Tea. Life jackets are provided. Come prepared with a jumper or jacket. Bring your sunglasses and camera. After the boat ride your helicopter will take you back to the Hobart base.
