Standing defiant like an island in the sky The Castle (Cooyoyo)  will enchant even the most jaded bush walker. Your journey will pass through vast rainforest and woodland as you ascend Kalianna Ridge. You will traverse around the base of The Castle under sheer rock faces, passing caves and waterfalls en-route to the narrow gateway of Meakins Pass. The scramble along the exposed ridge to the summit now begins, climbing high above the ancient forests below before arriving on the large plateau of the The Castle summit where the spectacular panoramic views of The Budawang Range and Tasman Sea will be sure to inspire!

In regards to transport we can arrange pick up from your local accommodation before heading west into the spectacular Morton National Park to begin your journey to the summit of the Castle ( Cooyoyo). Not only will you witness the beauty and diversity of the South Coast, our guides will provide knowledge and facts on the area including the array of plant and animal species.
