Getting to MONA – Tasmania’s famous Museum of Old and New Art– is now way more fun and exciting with the introduction of a helicopter transfer. Your flight is approximately 20 minutes as we will also include our very popular City Scenic flight around Hobart taking in all the beauty and splendour this city has to offer before landing at the entrance to the Museum. Take in views of the stunning Hobart waterfront and CBD, Mt Wellington and Salamanca before flying over the Derwent River towards MONA.

We offer complimentary pick up and drop off to all Hobart hotels, subject to availability. Your friendly pilot will provide a running commentary along the way pointing out all the major attractions and entertaining stories of Tasmania’s history.

Duration: 3 hours (approx.)

Take a flight in our Turbine powered Bell Jet rangers, AS350B3 Squirrel, AS355 Twin Squirrel or EC130 B4  Eurocopter.

Enjoy a complimentary hotel pickup and transfer from your centrally located Hobart accommodation to our base at the airport. Before taking flight, take part in a short safety briefing. Then, you’ll be ready for your scenic flight over picturesque Hobart waterfront and the CBD, with captivating views of Mt Wellington, the Tasman Bridge and the Derwent River, finally landing at MONA.

Experience the  Museum of Old and New Art at your leisure, escaping into the world of David Walsh and his collection of ancient and contemporary art. Enjoy lunch at the famous Source restaurant or Faro, or perhaps a wine or craft beer tasting at Morilla Estate.
