Swan Valley Wine Time (Private) Day Tour

This is a private tour for you and your group only.

The Swan Valley is one of the only wine regions within a 30 minute drive of a major capital city anywhere in the world. It is also one of the oldest wine growing regions in Australia.

A vast range of wines are grown in the valley, and it is the diversity of soil types which allow this to happen. There is a strong tradition of fortified winemaking and a long record of producing whites that are simple, fresh and crisp. The reds grown in the valley are known for their remarkable softness and drinkability at an early age.

A uniquely rustic, countryside Australian flavour is on display through this region and a number of incredibly talented artists and craftsmen live here. Blacksmiths & Metal Craftsmen, Stonemasons & Fabric designers to name a few. To visit the region for the wine and food alone is a missed opportunity so we offer these wonderful creative options to you.

We prefer to leave Perth City from your Hotel or designated pick up point around 9am.

The drive to the Valley is only around 30 minutes so there can be time to take in a few of the sights along the Swan River and Guildford area. The wineries generally open from around 9.30am - 10am onwards.

The large number of Wineries in the Swan Valley can make choosing a list quite tricky, so we recommend a range from the smaller boutique establishments to the larger estates.

Importantly, this tour is yours. There is no bus full of strangers, no waiting around for others and you have the flexibility to stay or go whenever you like, and you can therefore see more of what you like.

The larger most popular Wineries include Sandalford, Houghtons and Lancaster which all provide free tastings, but there are many more to choose from such as Lamonts, Faber, Upper Reach, Sitellas and Oakover.

Then there are the Breweries and Distilleries which include Feral Brewing, Ironbark and Funk Cider, Old Youngs and Mash.

Finding a place to eat is never difficult as there are so many amazing restaurants in the Region.

We recommend looking at the options online prior to the Tour. This refines the search and your knowledgeable guide will also have advise to help create an awesome day for you.
