Stop At: Wiener Staatsoper, Opernring 2, Vienna 1010 Austria

explanation of the architecture, the history, the background, the importance and meaning of the Vienna opera house amongst the music world and the connection inbetween Opera House and the Wiener Philharmoniker
A visit inside can be arranged upon notice and dependent on the allowance given by the State Opera House.

Stop At: Historic Center of Vienna, Vienna Austria

- Sacher Hotel outside (a former theater where opera was performed)
- Palais Lobkowitz (the premier of Beethoven's 3rd symphony in Vienna & the birth place of Musikverein Wien)
- Augustin Church
- Joseph Square (Dedouten Wing = former concert hall of the imperial palast)
- Hofburg Michael's Wing - Michael's Square (Haydn's former residence = Großes Michaelerhaus)
- DEMEL (former imeprial pastry - coffee break, coffee not included)
- Kohlmarkt
- Graben - Plage Column
- Stephen's Cathedral
- "Mozart area" (former residence - Deutschorden Haus - his last residence all from the outside)
- Palais Coburg (Former fortification)

- The former fortification of the city

- Vienna city hall
