Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Vienna/Bratislava to the Orava castle and to High Tatras

Stop At: Orava Castle, 02741 Oravsky Podsamok, Oravsky Podzamok Slovakia
On the first morning, it’s vital that you leave no later than 9 o’clock. A three-hour journey takes you to the Orava castle, one of the most beautiful castles in Slovakia: Oravský hrad, where one of the first ever vampire movies was filmed – Nosferatu (1922).
You'll pass 2 castles next to the roads, Beckov castle and Trenčín castle.
Inside the Orava castle there is the guided tour.
Next, you’ll drive about an hour to High Tatras moutains.
Overnight accommodation in High Tatras.

Day 2: High Tatra Mountains, Spiš castle and Levoča UNESCO heritage site

Stop At: Tatras National Park, Tatranska Strba 75, Tatranska Lomnica 059 41 Slovakia
This day you'll stay in the oldest National Park in Slovakia. You can take some of easy hikes suitable also for children. For example to the Huge waterfalls and mountain cottages. The High Tatras are truly unique as one can enjoy magical silence in the valleys as well as maximum relaxation.
You can take an easy hike or cable car to the saddle or to the peak. The best way is to take a cable car from Tatranska Lomnica village to Skalnate pleso lake or to the Lomnicky peak.

Stop At: Spis Castle, Namestie Majstra Pavla c.40, Zehra 053 04 Slovakia
In the morning, after breakfast, you should visit Spis Castle, one of the largest mediaeval castles in central Europe. After lunch, you make your way close tot he castle and you should visit mediaeval town Levoča, registered on the World UNESCO Heritage list. One of the most interesting buildings is the town hall and the gothic church.

Day 3: High Tatra Mountains and Banska Stiavnica UNESCO heritage site. End of the tour in Bratislava/Vienna.

After breakfast you should take an easy hike around a mountain lake Strbske Pleso.
Before noon we suggest drive from High Tatras to Banska Stiavnica UNESCO listed town.

Stop At: Banska Stiavnica, Banska Stiavnica, Banska Bystrica Region
Through the Low Tatras National Parks a two-hour journey takes you to the town of Banská ˆtiavnica, a UNESCO Heritage site. You’ll take in a tour of this picturesque town, then have a short break and lunch.
You should finish your tour in Banska Stiavnica town about 4 PM.
Late afternoon/evening you'll drive to Bratislava/Vienna.
Expected arrival back in Bratislava: 6 pm. In Vienna: 7 pm
