You are going to see active Mud Volcanoes area and will enjoy Moon landscape.There are aprox. 350 Mud Volcanoes in Azerbaijan.

Stop At: Gobustan Rock Art, 60 km South of Baku, Baku Azerbaijan

Gobustan is huge national park rich in rock carvings and ancient caves human shelters and etc. There is very new interactive museum from 2011 and open air archaeological site which is classified as a Unesco World Heritage site and very close there is Roman Empire graffiti from 84-96 AD.
