Khinalug, spelled Xinaliq in Azeri language, is the real marvel of Azerbaijan. A remote and ancestral village set above the clouds at 2350msl, among the bare peaks of northern Caucasus.Xinaliq’s origins go all the way back to the Caucasian Albanian period, some 2000 years ago, and even before that, this is indeed one of the oldest continuously inhabited places in the world, with a history spanning over 5,000 years.

You will either be picked up from the hotel or will meet the tour guide in the city at some predecided place.

Drive to the ancient village of Khinalug whose history dates back to the Caucasian Albanian period.

Khinalug is located high up in Quba Rayon mountains.
