The tiny riverside community of Bermudian Landing is situated approximately 6 miles north of Burrell Boom Village. The area is a popular tourist destination, home of the famous black howler monkey. The monkeys now roam freely around the surrounding area. First, you’ll visit the CBS Museum & Visitor’s Center which have a number of exhibits and displays on the Black Howler, the history of the sanctuary, and other Belizean wildlife. Following that, you’ll be guided on a nature walk in which you get an up-close encounter with the monkeys.
