This tour is 11 nights and 12 days tour of western and central Bhutan and explores eight different places i.e., Paro, Thimphu, Punakha, Trongsa,Bumthang,Ura Valley,Gangtey and Wangdue.All these places are very rich in terms of culture and traditions and also have so many important historical sites such as the fortresses,temples,monasteries etc.

Day 1- Arrive Paro

You will be received at the airport
• Visit Taa Dzong (Museum)
• Paro Rinpung Dzong and
• Drugyal Dzong-
• Kicchu Lhakhang

 Day 2-Paro to Thimphu
• Visit Thimphu Memorial Chorten                                        
• Visit Tashi Chhoe Dzong. 
• Visit Bhutanese Craft Bazaar
• Visit Buddha Dordenma Statue
• Visit Bhutan Post Office
• Visit Museum
• Visit Royal Textile Academy

Day 3 Thimphu to Punakha
• Visit Dochula Pass
• Visit Punakha Dzong
• Visit Chimi Lhakhang- 

 

Day 4 Punakha to Trongsa
• After breakfast, drive to Trongsa which is 5 to 6 hours’ drive (142 km) from Punakha.

Day 5 Trongsa to Bumthang
• Visit Trongsa Dzong
• Visit Trongsa Taa Museum
• Drive to Bumthang

   

Day 6 Bumthang
• Explore beautiful Bumthang Valley and also visit the following sites
• Jambay Lhakhang
• Kurjey Lhakhang
• Tamshing Lhakhang
• Jakar Dzong also known as ‘Castle of the white bird’

 

 Day 7 Bumthang to Ura Valley
• Hike to Ura valley

Day 8 Ura to Gangtey
• Drive to Gangtey

 

Day-9 Gangtey to Wangdue
• Sightseeing at Gangtey
• Visit Gangtey Goenpa
• Phobjika valley

 The best time to visit this place is during winter as you can see Black necked cranes all over this magnificent valley. You can also see Yaks grazing on the mountains before entering the valley. They have migrated from higher attitude to spend winter here because of the extreme cold weather in the northern Bhutan.

 

Day-10 Wangdue to Paro
• Drive back to Paro, sightseeing and shopping in the evening.

 Day-11 Paro Hike to Paro Taktshang (Tiger nest)

Hike to Paro Taktshang is one of the most popular Hike in Bhutan and will take at least 2-4 hours for trekkers to reach the spot.Paro Taktshang is one of the most prominent tourist destinations of the country and your trip would be tedious without visiting this most important Buddhist temple

  Day-12 Depart Paro
