Thimphu Festival of 6 Nights and 7 Days tour to Bhutan will take you with sightseeing, hiking and Festival tour in the capital of Bhutan. This festival is one of the biggest festivals in the country which is called the Thimphu Tshechu (Festival), held for three days on the month of Octomber. The Thimphu Festival is witnessed by thousands of people, both local and tourists from Regional or International. The actual Festival is preceded by days and nights of prayer and rituals to invoke the gods. Mask dances like the Guru Tshengye (Eight Manifestations of Guru Rinpoche), Shaw Shachi (Dance of the Stags) and many more are performed can be seen in Thimphu Festival.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Paro International Airport

Stop At: Thimphu District, Thimphu District
Our representative, Tour guide and Driver from Charisma Bhutan Tours & Treks will greet you at the Airport and driver to Thimphu capital of Bhutan.
On the way visit: Tachong Lhakhang, Chuzom Bridge and as you enter Thimphu city checkin the Hotel.

Day 2: Explore Thimphu City

Stop At: Thimphu District, Thimphu District
After breakfast visit: Buddha Point, Memorial Temple, Changangkha Lhakhang, Folk Heritage Museum, Takin Reserve, Textile Museum, Palace view point and craft bazaar.
Evening leisure time at Thimphu Town for shopping.

Day 3: Explore Thimphu festival and evening drive to Punakha

Stop At: Dochula Pass, Thimphu Bhutan
After breakfast visit and witness the festival and after lunch drive to Punakha, on the way visit Dochula Pass (108 Stupas with Himalayan Views).

Day 4: Explore Punakha

Stop At: Punakha Dzong, Punakha 13001 Bhutan
After breakfast drive to Punakha, on the way visit: Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility), Punakha Dzong, River Rafting and Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Choeten hike.

Day 5: Drive back to Paro from Punakha

Stop At: Paro, Paro, Paro District
After breakfast drive back to Paro, on the way visit Botanical Garden, Airport view point while reaching Paro, Visit National Museum.

Day 6: Explore Paro Town

Stop At: Paro Taktsang, Taktsang Trail BT, Paro Bhutan
