This less than a week - easy paced program (by Terma Linca Journeys) is to have you visit some of the most iconic places in Bhutan but still leave you with time to combine with other trips in the region. It features short drives and leisurely pace.

Day 1  Fly to Paro – drive to Thimphu
• Pickup by our representative at the airport
• Visit Kyichu Temple
• Visit Paro Rimpung Dzong and the National Musuem at Ta-Dzong
• Drive to Thimphu

Day 2  Stay in Thimphu – Punakha Excursion
• Visit the Big Buddha
• Drive to Punakha over Dochula pass
• stop at Dochula and visit Druk Wangyal monument along with vista of Himalyan peaks as backdrop
• Visit Punakha Dzong

Day 3  Drive to Paro
• Visit Textile muusem 
• Painting School and the Institute of Thirteen Traditional Arts and Crafts
• National Memorial Stupa
• Archery match
• drive to Paro

Day 4  Paro – Taktsang Excursion
• Hike to iconic Paro Taktsang ('Tiger's Nest') perched on cliff ledge 2000ft of valley floor
• optional outing in town

Day 5  Fly out
• Drop to the airport 2 hours before the flight
