Itinerary
Day 1: Paro-Thimphu (55Km/1Hour)
Stop At: Tashichho Dzong, Chhagchhen Lam, Thimphu, Bhutan
We can visit Tashichho Dzong, seat of the Royal Government and Central Monastic Body & Witness The Lowering of The Flag.
It is also one of the finest example of Bhutan Architecture
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Buddha Dordenma, Kuensel Phodrang Viewing Point, Thimphu 11001 Bhutan
On top of a Thimphu valley overlooks the giant Buddha Statue. The statue is built to bestow blessings,peace and happiness to the whole world
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Thimphu Chorten (Memorial Chorten), Thimphu Bhutan
The chorten was built in 1974. Due to its accessible location, it is a place where you will get to meet local Bhutanese.
Many elderly citizens spend whole day prostrating, circumambulating , chanting around the temple.

Day 2: THIMPHU- PHOBJIKHA (135 KMS/5-6 HOUR)
Stop At: Dochula Pass, Thimphu Bhutan
Drive via Dochu-la pass (3,088m/10,130ft) stopping briefly here to take in the view and admire the 108 chortens, mani wall, and prayer flags which decorate the highest point on the road.
If skies are clear, the high Himalayan peaks towards the north east will be revealed in all their glory. On a clear day, the following peaks can be seen from this pass (left to right): Masagang (7,158m), Tsendegang (6,960m), Terigang (7,060m), Jejegangphugang (7,158m), Kangphugang (7,170m), Zongaphugang (7,060m) a table mountain that dominates the isolated region of Lunana, and finally, Gangkar Puensum, the highest peak in Bhutan at 7,497m.

GANGTEY VALLEY EXPLORATION
The most beautiful and shortest of the existing nature trails in Bhutan. The trail hike starts from the Mani (like Chorten) stone wall to the north of the Gangtey Gonpa and ends in Khewa Lhakhang. The hike takes about 1hr 30minutes through the pine forest and small bamboo plants. You can see the Phobjikha valley so beautifully from this hike. It is one of the best hike places for the Nature lovers. During the winter months, we can see the endangered species of birds Black Neck Cranes.

Stop At: Gangtey Monastery, Gangtey Bhutan
• Gangtey Goenpa: is the main seat of the Pema Lingpa tradition which was established in 1613 by Gangteng Sangngak Choling.It overlooks the Phobjikha Valley.
In the evening you can take part in Evening prayer or have a discussion on Buddhism with the learned teacher.
Later join the dinner with the monks.

Day 3: DAY 3 GANGTEY SHEDRA
Stop At: Gangtey Monastery, Gangtey Bhutan
Schedule Activities
1. You can participate in morning prayer from 5:30 AM to 6:15Am
2. We can have an evening meditation class from 5:30pm to 6:30pm on Samantha meditation, loving and kindness or Vipassana.
3. You can also participate in evening prayer from 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Day 4: DAY 4: GANGTEY TO PUNAKHA (78KMS/3HRS)
Stop At: Punakha Dzong, Punakha 13001 Bhutan
Visit the ancient Punakha Dzong (a Dzong is a fortress-monastery) which dates back to the 17th century, spectacularly situated at the confluence of the Mo and Pho Rivers.
Duration: 7 hours 30 minutes
Stop At: Chimi L'hakhang Temple, Punakha Bhutan
• You will also have an optional short walk across the rice paddies to visit nearby Chimi Lhakhang, a lovely temple built by Lama Drukpa Kunley. Legend has it he subdued the demoness of the Dochu La with his "Magic Thunderbolt of Wisdom. A wood effigy of the lama's thunderbolt is preserved in the Lhakhang, and childless women go to the temple to receive a Wang (blessing) from the saint.

Stop At: Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, Punakha Bhutan
After Lunch we can hike to Khamsum Yulley.
Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten: Built by the Queen Mother Ashi Tshering Yangdon Wangchuck, this Chorten is a splendid example of the Bhutanese architecture. It was built over eight and a half years and its details have been drawn from religious scriptures.

Day 5: PUNAKHA TO PARO (120KMS/4HRS)
Stop At: Dra Karpo, Paro Bhutan
Perched on a small hill top of Paro valley lies a small monastery Dra Karpo (split Rock), one of the holiest site in Bhutan. Guru Padmasambhava accompanied by his consort Dakini Yeshey Tshogyal and many other yogis and great master down the ages have blessed and sanctified the place. As you circumambulate you can see the foot and hand prints and many other auspicious signs and symbols believed to have manifesrted through some supernatural powers. Maybe owing to all these there is a mystique tranquility in the vicinity of Dra Karpo . It is believed that the demon took refuge inside the rock and Guru Rinpoche had Split the rock and subdued the demons.
It is believed that even the deadliest of your sin will be washed away if you can circumambulate 108 times around dra karpo.

Day 6: PARO TAKTSHANG HIKE (4-6 HOURS)
Stop At: Paro Taktsang, Taktsang Trail BT, Paro Bhutan
Hike to Taktshang Monastery, one of the holiest and the most beautiful sites of Bhutan. Taktshang, the tigers lair, acquires its name from the legend of its foundation, when in the 8th Century Guru Rinpoche, widely revered as the second Buddha, arrived from Tibet flying across the mountains on the back of a tigress.

Stop At: Kyichu Lhakhang, Lamgong Gewog, Paro 12001 Bhutan
Visit the Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan.

Stop At: Dzongdrakha Temple, Paro Bhutan
Detour another holy place at Paro where the great master have meditated.

Day 7: PARO (VISIT CHUMPHU LHAKHANG)
Stop At: Chumphu Nye, Paro Bhutan
Chumphu Nye is located on a hilltop and completely isolated from the town. The whole trek is mesmerizing and gives you the feel of divine tranquility. It may take about 7 to 8 hours hike back and forth.
The walk is nurturing. The pristine environment filled in with rich faunal diversity with the touch of old man beard will promise you to make your hike a comforting one.
The whole hike is a Pilgrim progress. The stones, caves, waterfall all have their story to tell as you pass by. You will be walking the path which was once traversed by Guru Rinpoche, Khandrola Mendharawa and Khandrola Yeshey Tshogyel.
You can also choose to sit next to the cave where Guru and his consorts have meditated and feel the divine presence. The whole energy there is conducive for silence and meditation.
And the best part of the hike is witnessing the floating statue of Vajra Vairavi( Dorji Phamo). Literally both of her feet is above the ground defying gravity. See it to believe it.
