Explore Nature In Its Raw Form

Embark on a trip into the vast lands of the Kalahari Game Reserve and experience Nxai Pan for its famous Baines Baobab trees. The spontaneous thrill-seeker will love this short safari as it lets you experience the wild through a camping trip right smack into the heart of Botswana. Grab the opportunity to witness game up-close and personal in an exciting adventure.

Itinerary

Day 1: Maun-Central Kalahari Game Reserve

Pass By: Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Ghanzi District
Wake up early morning and have breakfast and your guide will pick you up from your lodge and brief you about the trip. Then depart to Central Kalahari Game Reserve, upon arrival, the staff will set up the camp, and then direct you to your camping tents. After a short while, you will have lunch and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have a tea and resume your afternoon game drive within the park. Drive back to the camp after your afternoon game drive, enjoy afresh shower and then dinner will be served. The time for bed will be determined by the last guest.

Meals included:
• Lunch: Light afternoon lunch- Cold meats, salads breads and fruit. 3lts of bottled water per person per day.
• Dinner: 2 courses, either soup and a main or a main and desert. Couple of glasses of wine for dinner will be supplied.
Accommodation included: Walk-in 3m x 3m tents with fully made, comfortable bedrolls on stretcher. Shared toilet tent and shower tent.

Day 2: Central Kalahari Game Reserve

Pass By: Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Ghanzi District
Wake up early morning, have a quick shower and have breakfast then resume your game drive within the park. Come back to the camp. After a short while, you will have lunch and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have a tea and resume your afternoon game drive within the park. Drive back to the camp after your afternoon game drive, enjoy a fresh shower and then dinner will be served.

Meals included:
• Breakfast: Cereals, rusks tea and coffee. Brunch- Eggs, bacon, beans, fried tomato, sausage (or vegan sausage) and toast.
• Lunch: Cold meats, salads breads and fruit. 3 liters of bottled water per person per day.
• Dinner: 2 courses, either soup and a main or a main and desert. Couple of glasses of wine for dinner will be supplied.
Accommodation included: Walk-in 3m x 3m tents with fully made, comfortable bedroll on stretcher. Shared toilet tent and shower.

Day 3: Central Kalahari Game Reserve-Nxai Pan

Pass By: Nxai Pan National Park, Nxai Pan National Park, Central District
Wake up early morning, have a quick shower and have breakfast then while the staff is breaking down the camp immediately after breakfast. Venture through Central Kalahari to Nxai Pan to spend one night. Upon arrival, the staff will set up the camp, and then direct you to your camping tents. After a short while, you will have lunch and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have a tea and resume your afternoon game drive within the park. Drive back to the camp after your afternoon game drive, enjoy afresh shower and then dinner will be served. The time for bed will be determined by the last guest.

Day 4: Nxai Pan-Maun

Pass By: Baines Baobabs, Nxai Pan National Park Botswana
Wake up early in the morning and have your breakfast. Drive to the Baines Baobabs. The Baines Baobab trees derive their name from Thomas Baines (who was a member of the Livingstone Expedition); he painted a group of Baobab trees that became famously known as the ‘Baines Baobabs’. According to sources, he completed the painting between 1861 and 1862, and he was overwhelmed with the rare sighting of these fantastic baobab trees. Enjoy the packed lunch since you will spend most of the hours away. Later drive back to the campsite where you will find your meals prepared. In the midday, you leave Nxai to Maun where the safari will end.
