You can enjoy the experience of a Guided Pony Ride in the tranquil setting of the Notwane Dam, home to an incredible number of different birds from White Headed Eagle to Kingfisher. Dining in this natural setting has a true feeling of African outdoors, yet only 12 km away from the City limits of GABORONE, Botswana‘s Capitol city.

Itinerary

Guided Pony Rides on the Premises of the NOTWANE EQUESTRIAN CENTRE (10 hectar) to the Waterfront; time for Picture-Taking; Riders will receive proper equipment (like Helmet), don‘t have to be experienced. Children age 3 and up are accepted.

Before or after the Ride, at ZORRO‘s Restaurant one can relax, dine and enjoy a drink (or two).

A sizable Playground for children is providing short-while for the children and tranquil time for the parents.

Also, Rides outside the premises and into the Bush on Dirt Roads meandering through the Notwane area are possible (need to be prearranged).

Two guest houses (1-bedroom) provide the opportunity to spend extended time on the premises and enjoy the riding and dining for more than just a short-stay.
