It is therefore a complex structure, with multiple functions, roles and personalities that must harmoniously integrate to form an efficient and qualified unit. In this context, four basic axes that constitute the integrality of Caraça stand out:

The Caraça Sanctuary Complex is the total property of 11,233 hectares, where the Sanctuary Architectural Complex is located, the RPPN area (10,187 ha area), and parts identified by the owner as management areas. In the Architectural Complex are the neogothic church, the building of the old college (now museum and library) and the inn. In the area of management are located Fazenda do Engenho, the Boia Hole, the Fazenda do Capivari.
