Joshua's Amazon Expeditions will be led you on an Amazon Jungle trip where you will have the chance to explore the amazon in short time and get closer to the nature and learn more about the rainforest and the people that live among the river sides , trekking in the virgin jungle with a local guide of the region .Accommodation at the Amazon Boto Lodge in very isolated region of the Juma Lake and Tracaja on the Southam part of Manaus.

Itinerary

Day 1: Begin of the Trip

Pass By: Meeting of Waters, Rio Negro e Rio Solimoes, Manaus, State of Amazonas 69005-141 Brazil
Day One: At 8am you are pick up at your hotel and your Amazon Jungle Tour from Manaus begin, where you are transferred from the hotel to the Ceasa port .From the ceasa port the Group will be taking a speed boat to navigating true the Rio negro to the Floating village call Catalão with a stop at one of the floating house that have a fish far for the Giant Arapaima Gigas (The biggest scale fish in the World ). Here you will have the opportunity to see some fish and feed them and feel how strong this fish is. After visiting the fish far is time to continue the journey on the fast boat to the meeting of the waters, the point where the Rio Negro and the Solimões River meet. Then you continue to the Careiro Village on the other side of the Solimões River. From there continue by car or van for about an hour to the Maçarico lake. Continue by speed-boat arriving at the Amazon Boto lodge at about 11:30am. Lunch is served at noon.
Your Amazon Jungle trip activities begin at 2:30pm. You’ll leave on a motorized canoe and go piranha fishing, dolphin and bird watching. Before going back to the lodge, take in the beauty of the sunset. Back to the lodge for dinner.
After dinner set out on a Cayman spotting adventure. A sample is caught by the Jungle Guide, where he will explain about the pre-historic animal that are all over the amazon basin, during this time everyone can take photos and make video before its release him back to the water. Back to the lodge and overnight.

• Dinner: Generally prepared with regional fresh fish, chicken, beef, beans, salads, rice, vegetables and fruits.
Accommodation included: Accommodations at Amazon Boto Lodge is in private suites, with air condition, private bathroom and mosquito nets.

Day 2: Jungle trip

Pass By: Pousada Amazon Boto, Careiro - State of Amazonas, 69250-000, Brazil
Day two: At 5:00 there is wake up call to everyone, so the group departure at 05:30am by a motorized boat to watch the sunrise while listening to the forest waking up to a new day. where also there is a great opportunity to sport some different species of birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and shortly afterwards, take a jungle trekking for the rest of the morning. During the walk, your Amazon jungle guide explains valuable information about the rain forest. Much is learned about medicinal plants, insects such as spiders, and a chance at seeing curious animals such as monkeys. Back to the lodge for lunch.

At 3pm. They group will leave on A canoeing adventure passing true small channels. (from May to august is possible to explore the flooded jungle) Spend some hours quietly passing through the exuberant Amazon jungle while observing the flora and fauna explained to you by your Amazon jungle guide. During this tour is a great opportunity to sport some wild life like birds, monkeys and other animals that life in that area of the amazon rain forest. Back out to the main river and enjoy the journey back to the lodge before dark. Dinner is served at 07:00pm.

After dinner everyone get ready to go on the Night safari tour by boat and explore river banks. Your Amazon Jungle Guide will be searching for some wild life among the river’s banks and channel since most of the wild life is active during the night in the jungle. Back to the lodge and overnight.

• Lunch: Generally prepared with regional fresh fish, chicken, beef, beans, salads, rice, vegetables and fruits.

Accommodation included: Accommodations at Amazon Boto Lodge is in private suites, with air condition, private bathroom and mosquito nets.

Day 3: Jungle trip

Pass By: Juma Lake Inn, Eirunepé - AM, 69240-000, Brazil
Day Three: Breakfast is served at 07:00am and after breakfast at 8am to 11am, the group will leave to visit the home of a local family that live among the river sides of the amazon region and learn about their simple but fantastic way of life in the rain forest. On the way back to the lodge there is opportunity to go swimming in the river as well had have some fun like to local amazon people.
Return to the lodge for lunch and at about 1:30pm depart to Manaus arriving there at approximately 4:30pm.
