Amazon Survival Tour 6D5N

for people interested exploring the amazon rain forest and have contact with nature and learning as much possible about the forest. This trip is located in the south of Manaus in the Juma area, 100 kilometres away from the city. On this tour the nigths are spending camping in the forest. alos will have the chave to Hiking in diferent area making new trail , fishing , apearfising at nigth , canoening , nigth safari , cayman spoting , bird wacthing , build camps, learn about flora and fauna , exploding the deep amazon jungle with native amazon jungle guides .

Itinerary

Day 1: Begin of the trip

Pass By: Meeting of Waters, Rio Negro e Rio Solimoes, Manaus, State of Amazonas 69005-141 Brazil
At 8am you are pick up at your hotel and your Amazon Jungle Tour from Manaus begin, where you are transferred from the hotel to the Ceasa port .From the ceasa port the Group will be taking a speed boat to navigating true the Rio negro to the Floating village Call Catalao , with a stop at one of the floating house that have a fish far for the Giant Arapaima Gigas (The biggest scale fish in the World ). Here you will have the opportunity to see some fish and feed them and feel how strong this fish is. After visiting the fish far is time to continue the journey on the fast boat to the meeting of the waters, the point where the Rio Negro and the Solimões River meet. Then you continue to the Careiro Village on the other side of the Solimões River. From there continue by car or van for about an hour to the Maçarico lake. Continue by speed-boat arriving at the lodge at about 11:30am. Lunch is served at noon.

At 2:30pm the activities begin, the group leaves by motorized boat to the first spot out in the jungle to overnight. After dinner you will leave by boat for Cayman spotting. Back to camp to overnight

Day 2: camping out in the forest

Pass By: Juma Floating Lodge (Pousada Do Nilson), Autazes - State of Amazonas, 69240-000, Brazil
At 5:30am a canoe trip is done to watch the sunrise and to get a close-up view of the forest waking up to a new day. At 7am breakfast is served and then at 8am a jungle hike starts and finishes at 11:30am. During the walk, the guide explains valuable information about the forest. Much is learned about medicinal plants, spiders, trees and there is even a chance of seeing monkeys.

The afternoon activity starts at 3pm. It is canoeing in the flooded forest and in the small channels. It is a great opportunity to see and learn about the flora and fauna of this fantastic Amazon jungle and go fishing for some piranhas as the native people in the amazon does. back to camp. At night is time to look for the nocturnal life out in the jungle by boat with a spot light.

Day 3: Camping in The forest

Before breakfast is time to do another trekking in a different are and explore the jungle as the wild life in waking out for a new day .back to camp for breakfast and move on to another place to camp out .In the afternoon we will leave boat to boat to explore the small channels of the amazon for bird watching also also go fishing for dinner . back to camp

Day 4: Camping out in the forest

Pass By: Juma Lake Inn, Eirunepé - AM, 69240-000, Brazil
During the period of camping in the forest, there is also a chance to sleep at the house of locals. moving to different camp sites as the tour develops.

The group spends these days camping in the forest. All the while the following activities are practiced: Spear fishing at night to catch their own food, trekking in different parts of the forest canoeing, camping in different areas and visiting the homes of locals. The highlight of this tour is the acquirement of survival techniques in the forest.

On the last day, the group returns to the lodge at about 11am. After lunch at 1:30pm the group returns to Manaus, arriving in the city at about 4:30pm
