Backstage Bird Park transport and FREE entrance to the Bird Park

The Backstage Experience offers the visitor the opportunity to experience the backstage of the recovery and conservation work carried out by the Bird Park during a 1h30 tour and also entitles you to a pass that guarantees an additional entrance to visit the Park on another occasion. The experience includes access to some restricted areas, and also provides the privileged opportunity to get in touch with some birds, besides feeding toucans and flamingos, among others.

Stop At: Parque das Aves, Rodovia das Cataratas, 12450 Right in front of the Iguazu National Park, Foz do Iguacu, State of Parana 85855-750 Brazil

It has 16 hectares of secondary jungle of which 7 hectares are destined the facilities and the rest the preservation area. The visit is realized by catwalks signaled without means to the jungle.

They lead to the various nurseries, each 630 m² and 8 meters high, enriched by cascade, bridges and lots of vegetation, where you can appreciate the behavior of different bird species. In other smaller nurseries, species from Southwest Asia, Oceania and Africa are found.

A nursery houses moths and hummingbirds in the area. In another natural environment are alligators and reptile nurseries. Name of the trail, you will be able to observe a well-known jiboia. Already at the end, we will have a restaurant with exclusive view to Lake of the Flamingos, where the tourists can take like memory a photo holding a macaw. The park maintains more than 900 birds of 150 species, most of them Brazilian birds. A third of the species are considered without risk of extinction. All birds in the park come from zoos, breeders authorized by IBAMA and from rehabilitation centers. All animals are registered according to the Zoological Society of Brazil and IBAMA.
