A whole world of pure chocolate!
Inaugurated in March 2015, Chocolate World invites you to take a tour of the world, knowing the most beautiful sights, all developed in solid chocolate. There are more than 200 pieces in 3 thousand square meters, which together add up to 30 tons of candy.
Located in the heart of Gramado, the park divides its attractions into geographical spaces, highlighting the postcards and each region. Through the guided tour, the park tells the story of Mr. Suisse and his granddaughter Hazel, former residents of a chocolate factory in the town of Lugano, Switzerland. To realize the girl's dream of knowing the world, her grandfather tells the story of other countries, recreating the landscapes with chocolate. After visiting different destinations, the two arrive at Gramado, a place chosen for Hazelnut to recreate their own sculptures of the candy, remembering the places where it passed, thus creating a whole world of pure chocolate.
Developed with totally solid chocolate, the more than 200 pieces on display in the Chocolate World impress with the richness of detail. During the visit, it is impossible not to be moved by the chocolate monuments such as Christ the Redeemer, the Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, the White House, the Great Wall of China, the Pyramids of Egypt, the Taj Mahal, among others. Highlight for the Eiffel Tower, which is 4.22 meters high and 800 kg of chocolate. A work of over 100 hours. The heaviest piece in the collection is the Great Wall of China, with 6 tons of solid chocolate. In addition, pieces such as furniture, animals, bags, shoes, decorative objects and even a Buddha appear in the scenes. To preserve the sculptures, the park maintains its temperature at 18 degrees.
At Mini Fábrica you can check closely how the handmade chocolates are produced. And of course, this is where the best part of the tour is: tasting Lugano's delicious and distinctive chocolates. You can choose to taste traditional or white milk chocolate, both still in their liquid form, straight from the "temperiers".
