The coolest attraction in Canela is the Captain Ice World, an ice cave with temperature that can reach up to -25ºC, will make you feel like you are in an igloo at the South Pole. The cave is 140 square meters and 40 meters in length. In this cave Captain Jack carved several sculptures on ice, where the visitor has full interaction.
Upon entering the Captain's Ice World the visitor will receive a coat of his own to withstand the cold of the cave. Remember that it is recommended to be in long pants and closed shoes, because there the cold is great !!
You will meet countless ice sculptures such as furniture, bed, sofa and chair. Have you thought about taking a nap on a cold bed? Replicas carved in crystal ice such as Christ the Redeemer, Eiffel Tower and the Egyptian Sphinxes among others, are also found within the park.
When walking in the cave, the children will go crazy with the replica of the prehistoric animal Mamute, that of the Ice Age movie, 2 meters high. You will also find Scrat, that squirrel who tries at all costs to eat his walnut and the nice Elsa along with his faithful friend Olaff.
At the end of the first part of the tour the visitor will find a souvenir shop that can buy souvenirs related to the cold of the cave, have a good coffee or a delicious hot chocolate to recover the temperature, or remain frozen delighting in an exclusive ice cream made by the Captain.
In the second part of the tour, the visitor will know another skill of the Captain, which is to build replicas of legendary vessels, planes and armored vehicles, as well as a collection of pieces from the last century that enchant people of any age.
