This 4-day (3 nights) tour, by Ivan Bahia Travel Guide, is private and totally organized from Salvador (so we will pick you up in Salvador and bring you back there, locations out of Salvador, max 100km will be charged with a fee).

Itinerary

Day 1: Travel to Lençois where we discover local trails and waterfalls

Stop At: Lençóis - Chapada Diamantina, R. Sete de Setembro, Lençóis - BA, 46960-000, Brazil
Discovery of the charming village of Lençois where we start hiking and will stay overnight in the pousada Alto do Cajueiro
Duration: 6 hours

No meals included on this day.
Accommodation included: Pousada Alto do Cajueiro, calmly located in the Muritiba woods of Lençois (a few minutes walking away from the village)

Day 2: We do a mini trekking for a day to the famous Sossego falls

Stop At: Cachoeira do Sossego, Lencois, State of Bahia 46960-000 Brazil
Today will be a 1 day-trekking through a small and savage canyon, starting from Lençois village to the beautiful Sossego Waterfalls, where we will have à picknick

We will be walking for about 16km and you need a good physical condition.
Duration: 1 hour

Accommodation included: Pousada Alto do Cajueiro, calmly located in the Muritiba woods of Lençois (a few minutes walking away from the village)

Day 3: Today you may choose out of a day-trip to the Fumaça Waterfalls or a day-trip Canoeing in the Marimbus-Roncador area

Stop At: Cachoeira da Fumaca, Chapada Diamantina National Park, Vale do Capao, Palmeiras, State of Bahia 46960-000 Brazil
This is your choice number 1 for today
We will have a day-trip to the most famous Cachoeira da Fumaça waterfalls with their 380m height (we will check weather and water conditions before making our choice). This is a wonderfull place on the other side of the park near the Valé do Capão (which we will see from above)
Duration: 6 hours

Stop At: Pantanal de Marimbus, Povoado Remanso, Chapada Diamantina National Park, State of Bahia 46830-000 Brazil
This is your choice number 2 for today.
If you are fun of water let's have a day's canoeing along the Marimbus swamps and have a swim around the beautiful Roncador falls, lunching with locals (where you may serve yourself as much as you want in their kitchen)

Day 4: Enjoy the best of the Brazilian Grand Canyon : mount Morro de Pai Inaçio

Have the most beautiful scenery of the famous Brazilian Grand Canyon, in Chapada Diamantina National Park
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Poco do Diabo Waterfall, BR-242 Km 22, Lencois, State of Bahia 46960-000 Brazil
Amazing waterfalls along the Mucugezinho river at the Poço do Diabo (Devil's Pit) where you may have a swim under the waterfalls
Duration: 2 hours
