The crossing Petrópolis Teresópolis is a national mountaineering classic organized by RIO ECO TRIP. It crosses the all Serra dos Órgãos National Park, in the heart of the Atlantic Forest. In its route we can get to know the peaks and rock formations that are by the way, the Castle of Açu with 2,246m of altitude, Garrafão mountain, Dedo de Deus (Finger of God), Escalavrado and the famous Stone of the Sine, highest point of the National Park with its 2,275 m of altitude. This trekking offers you a breathtaking adventure!
Itinerary
The Petrópolis Teresópolis Trekking is the most popular expedition and most beautifull Brazil trekking expedition. We are going to cross Serra dos Órgãos National Park, Rio de Janeiro. It is located in the National Park of Serra dos Órgãos with plenty of wild life in the middle of Atlantic Forest. With many climbs and steep descents it is considered the most beautifull hike of Brazil. Connects the cities of Petropolis and Teresopolis, mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro, and is usually held in 03 days, about 32 km. The expedition will begin at Rio de Janeiro city with your pick up at your hotel / flat and a expedition briefing during the drive, and will finish 3 days later with you coming back tired, safely and very happy after these 3 days up in the mountains. Meals (2 breakfast & 2 dinners), tickets, transfers, tents are included.
