RAFTING IN RIVER Paraiba from Copacabana

Serra Verde offers the Rafting activity in the Paraibuna River, one of the best rivers for the practice of the activity in Brazil, in the municipality of Três Rios.

There are 18 km of rapids ranging from levels II to V, according to the river level. gliding through the green of the Atlantic rainforest under the eyes of typical animals of this biome, such as marmosets and hedgehogs, in up to 3 hours of adrenaline and contemplation.

After the activity we offer lunch with typical homemade food of Minas Gerais dessert in a pleasant and large restaurant by the river.

To rest the visitor has the free time to enjoy the site, which has swimming pool, changing room with heated water, nets for a nap to the sound of local birds and cachaça shop.

If you would like to add some more adrenaline, zip lining, climbing wall and suspended obstacle course are available as options.

Itinerary

07h / 07: 30 - Meeting points - General Osório / Arcoverde respectively
09h - Stop in the municipality of Itaipava, before arrival at Três Rios, for rest.
10 am - Estimated arrival at the Três Rios base for breakfast.
11am - Departure by vehicle to the beginning of the activity, where there will be a short briefing with instructions on the practice.
12h - Beginning of the Rafting activity - (Between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the condition of the river.
14: 30h - Return to the base for lunch with typical food of Minas Gerais, in a riverside restaurant.
FREE REST TIME - The site offers various amenities such as heated locker room, swimming pool (Unheated), souvenir shop, cachaça shop, zip line, climbing wall, suspended obstacles - (Not included in package price )
17h - Return to Rio de Janeiro - (With tolerance to leave at 17:30)
8:30 pm - Expected arrival at Arcoverde - Copacabana station, following to General Osorio station later.
