For more than 20 years, Morrinho Project tells a story of communities, authenticity and respect. The Morrinho project it a cultural space which beautifully articulates the geography in which it was created. A collection of thousands of broken and painted bricks forms different streets and, all at home to a diverse population of personalities. What began holistically as a manifestation of the right to play has turned into an artistic revolution.

Today, Morrinho is a collective and cultural community space that unites creativity, tourism, education, and activism.

A guided visit through the Morrinho artwork where the founding local artists recount their path at the Favela of Pereirão in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro. At Pereirão Favela arts and the entrepreneurship is everywhere: Bars, Restaurants, Bed & Breakfasts, Hostels and the installation of the Morrinho Project.
