Grêmio Recreativo Salgueiro Academic Samba School (often referred to only as Salgueiro) is one of the most traditional samba schools in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Originally from Morro do Salgueiro, it is currently headquartered at Rua Silva Teles, 104, in the Andaraí neighborhood, where the Olympic Village of Salgueiro also operates. It was founded on March 5, 1953, from the merger of two Morro do Salgueiro samba schools, Later Eu Digo and Azul e Branco.
