The Museum's exhibition begins on the ground floor, with panels telling the story of the architectural ensemble. Highlight for the monumental equestrian sculpture of D. Pedro II, by Francisco Manoel Chaves Pinheiro. There is also an exhibition on the means of transport, From Mobile to Automobile - Moving through History, and Cuschean sacred paintings, witnesses of Peruvian culture.
In the second floor there is access to the gallery, where exhibitions range from Brazilian prehistory to the republican period: traditional collection, contemporary pieces and multimedia resources help the visitor to understand our history.
