a complete crossing of the Lençois Maranhenses park is a unique experience to do at least once in this life, the landscapes are breathtaking, this crossing is a total immersion in what nature can offer more beautiful and to disconnect you totally of civilization. all this in a secure setting is with professional.

Itinerary

Day 1: Barreirinhas - Lagoa Bonita - Baixa Grande

Stop At: Lagoa Bonita e Lagoa Azul, Parque Nacional dos Lencois Maranhenses, Barreirinhas, State of Maranhao 65590-000 Brazil
Departure in the morning around 4:30 towards the Bonita lagoa in private 4x4 accompanied by your two guides, after 40 minutes off road we arrive at the Lagoa Bonita starting point of your trek.
After a walk of 5 to 6 hours you will reach the small Oasis of Baxia Grande. during Trekking there will be several stops for you to swim, rest and take pictures.
The goal is to arrive at Baixa Grande before noon. to avoid walking in the sun.
Rest of the day free.
In the late afternoon your guide will take you to the dunes to witness one of the most beautiful sunset that nature can offer.

Day 2: Baixa Grande - Queimada dos Britos

Stop At: Baixa Grande, Baixa Grande, State of Bahia
Departure in the morning after breakfast with your guide for the second oasis of the Parque Queimada dos Britos. there will be several stops during the walk so you can swim take pictures and relax after about 4 hours of walk you will join Queimada dos Britos

Day 3: Queimada dos Britos - Santo Amaro

Stop At: Santo Amaro do Maranhao, Santo Amaro do Maranhao, State of Maranhao
Departure early in the morning for the longest part of your trekking accompany your two guide you leave in the direction of Santo Amaro west exit door of Lençois Maranhenses park. after 8 hours of walking. go with your private 4x4 to the lagoa Betania who will wait for you to take you directly to Santo Amaro.
