Itinerary

Day 1: Barreirinhas - Lagoa Bonita - Baixa Grande

Stop At: Lagoa Bonita e Lagoa Azul, Parque Nacional dos Lencois Maranhenses, Barreirinhas, State of Maranhao 65590-000 Brazil
Departure in the morning around 4:30 towards the Bonita lagoa in private 4x4 accompanied by your 02 guides, after 40 minutes off road we arrive at the Lagoa Bonita starting point of your trek. After a walk of 5 to 6 hours you will reach the small Oasis of Baxia Grande. during Trekking there will be several stops for you to swim, rest and take pictures. The goal is to arrive at Baixa Grande before noon. to avoid walking in the sun. Rest of the day free. In the late afternoon your guide will take you to the dunes to witness one of the most beautiful sunset that nature can offer. Lunch and dinner included Night in hammock included

Day 2: Baixa Grande - Atins - Barreirinhas

Stop At: Atins, Atins, Barreirinhas, State of Maranhao
Early in the morning your going to leave Baixa Grande with your 2 guides to reach the small fisher village of Atins, after a walk of 7 or 8 hours you will arrive to Canto de Atins the meeting point with your private 4x4 who will drive you to Atins. ( 40 minutes driving). Once in Atins a collective boat will be waiting for you to drive you to Barreirinhas. you will arrive to Barreirinhas around 16h30.
