We will make our way to a small village where you will have the chance to try something special from the local dairy cuisine. During the degustation, you will meet a team of local enthusiasts who are facing a great challenge – to participate in the preservation of a long-forgotten recipe. The product you are going to taste is famous for its uniqueness because it can be produced only in this village and under specific conditions. You can rarely see it in shops, supermarkets or restaurants. The main chef will introduce you to the history of the recipe, and if the circumstances allow, you can take part in the making process as well.

Stop At: Glozhene Monastery (Sveti Georgi Pobedonosets), Ribaritsa Bulgaria

Take the scenic road to the highest monastery in Bulgaria – the Glozhen monastery. It is situated on top of a rocky peak in Tetevenska mountain and preserves more than eight centuries of history. The fantastic view that opens out from the summit will give you a moment of pure calmness and freedom. When you shake off this feeling of eternity, be ready to enjoy the rich assortment of local dishes by immersing into the traditions of Bulgarian culinary for lunch.

Your local leader will escort you to the biggest and most beautiful cave in the region – Saeva Dupka Cave. With its exceptional beauty, the cave covers a total area of 3, 500 square meters. The three-million-old formation displays one of the most abundant varieties of stalactites, stalagmites, karst lakes, and rock curtains. You can even try your singing skills in the biggest gallery in the cave which has hosted numerous choirs and concert performances due to its astounding acoustic properties.
