During our 5 or 6 day trips in the peak of the rose or lavender seasons, you, together with other knowledgeable F&F industry people and aromatherapists from a variety of countries, will meet the main Bulgarian essential oil processing and exporting companies as well as producers of F&F and finished cosmetics products. Most time will be spent visiting factories and fields where you will pick roses or lavender, talk to local farmers, see a typical picker’s village and learn all about the secrets of the Bulgarian rose and lavender from dedicated industry specialists.

The people who will meet and greet you at the factories, who will talk and drink a glass of rakia (a typical local alcoholic beverage) with you are the owners of the companies who have dedicated their entire life to this industry and you will have the opportunity to ask and learn.

You will also have the opportunity to learn about Bulgaria’s fascinating culture while enjoying traditional homemade local country cuisine.

After arrival and exiting the gate of the airport, participants have to look for a representative of Bulgaria Study Tour (BST) holding an iPad in his hands displaying their names and the company's logo. Afterward, they get escorted to their ride and brought to the hotel in Sofia or to the assembling point of the group from where the tour shall begin. During our tours, delegates travel by bus/coach or minivans (8+1), depending on the size of each group. On the last day of the journey, all participants are delivered individually to the airport for their flights back home.
