The temple "St. Petka Bulgarska "was built with the money of Baba Vanga in the early 90s of the last century. The icons of the iconostasis are made by the great Bulgarian artist Svetlin Rusev - a famous painter with international recognition, a close friend of the prophetess. This prompted many discussions among believers and the disapproval of the Holy Synod, and the priests had long refused to sanctify the temple. Vanga himself has made a lot of effort to calm the argument with the argument that the place gives energy and trust to many people. And this is the most important thing for her. In 1994, the church was consecrated with solemn liturgy, and the number of people who visit it is constantly increasing. Many visitors leave small gifts for the temple and flowers at Vanga's grave, which is in his yard. On August 15, when Orthodoxy celebrates the Assumption of the Assumption, a traditional congregation is held in Rupite, folk music is performed by local singers and instrumentalists.
