Rila mountain hiking - Private Day Tour

Rila is one of the most beautiful mountains in Bulgaria. Its nature and beauty are continuously attracting thousands of people every year. Once you visit Rila, you’ll want to come back again and again!

In order to make sure all of the above is true, we’ll embark on a route to Belmeken hut and the Belmeken peak. The peak is 2626m above sea level and the region is famous for its ecological and picturesque environment. During spring and mid-summer there are many rare species of high mountain flowers to be seen. At the end of August and beginning of September, there are lots of blueberries and raspberries.

Nearby are Sokolov peak and Cherni vrah peak. An outstanding view can be observed from Belmeken towards Rila, Pirin, Rhodopes, Stara Planina, and its hiking is fairly easy during the summer.

This tour is suitable for beginners and medium-advanced hikers.

Often one route can be suitable at the same time for beginners and advanced hikers. This depends on the present conditions in the mountain.

The tour starts at 07:00 am when our tripvam representative will pick you up from your hotel.

We leave for Belmeken where we should arrive at about 9:00 am

We begin our hiking from Belmeken hut which is 2000m above sea level. There are training some of the country’s elite sports people!

After arriving at Belmeken peak we’ll enjoy the beautiful panorama – the highest mountains are around and below us is situated the sparkling waters of a dam.

After a short rest and photo shots, we depart for our vehicle and leave for Sofia where we should arrive at about 7:00 pm
