This walking tour starts from the emblematic building of Sofia University, the first university to be constructed in the capital after the Liberation. Strolling around the charming little streets behind the university, you will learn to recognize the different architectural styles that are embedded in the buildings around you – from gorgeous royal palaces to communist's monumental ensembles. The whole neighborhood is considered one of the most beautiful in Sofia and a gathering place for the 20th-century Bulgarian aristocracy.
