The city is unique for its architecture which was influenced by its rich history and interesting geographical terrain. We are being awaited by a walk and journey in time where we’ll see amazing architectural masterpieces as well as be able to feel the spirit of the local traditions and the romantic of the Bulgarian revival age. Stop At: Veliko Tarnovo Hills, 5003 Ж.К. ВЕЛИКО ТЪРНОВО ХИЛС, Bulgaria

The tour begins at 08:00 am when we’ll pick you up from your hotel.

Then we depart for Veliko Tarnovo which is just a 2.5-hours drive from Burgas.

We will explore the most important sights: Tsarevets architectural and museum reserve (medieval stronghold), Samovodskata charshia (lively craftsmen’s street), Assens’ monument and the museum village of Arbanassi – famous for its 17th and 18th architecture and the unique Church of the Nativity of Christ, with well preserved murals depicting over 2000 Old and New Testament scenes.

We will visit also the “Holy Forty Martyrs” church – the most popular Bulgarian medieval monument in the region which is keeping some of the most important Bulgarian epigraphy monuments – the Omurtag, Asenova and border pillar from the times of Han Krum. A message is encoded in the pillar. Discovering what’s that message is a must!

Of course the food. Many choices and no way to make a mistake no matter what you choose!

Late afternoon we depart for Burgas at about 4:30 pm. Expected time of arrival in Burgas at 7:00 pm.
