You’ll enter the fairy world of Iskar’s Gorge, where the river Iskar has cut through Stara Planina mountain forming a beautiful gorge. This picturesque area is situated in the Western part of Bulgaria and starts from the Sofian valley.

One of the biggest rock pearls of the Gorge - Kobilini walls is awaiting you. We’ll hike the highest peak of Vratsa mountain - Beglichka Mogila in order to enjoy fully the breathtaking scenery surrounded by hundreds of meters tall rocks! The peak is situated just next to the edge of Kobilini walls.

This tour is suitable for beginners and medium-advanced hikers.

Often one route can be suitable at the same time for beginners and advanced hikers. This depends on the present conditions in the mountain.

The tour starts at 07:30 am when our tripvam representative will pick you up from your hotel.

After a 1.5 hour drive, we’ll arrive at Ochindol where we’ll start our winter adventurе.

We start with a flat hike till the foot of Ostra Mogila. Then we’ll make a detour to its highest point for our first panoramas looking towards the rocks of Kobilini Walls. Then we start our hiking of Vratsa’s highest peak – Beglichka mogila (1481m above sea level) where we’ll enjoy the most spectacular sheer-cliffs and scenery.

We take our last photo shots and leave towards our car.
