Itinerary

Day 1: Taprom (Tom Raider Movies), Leaper King, Vimean Akas

Stop At: Angkor Thom South Gate, Siem Reap Cambodia
Time: 08:00 – 17:00 (can be discussed)

Starting with the Bayon (known as Angkor Thom – literally means ‘big city’), you will be guided to see the temple’s most distinctive feature that has the multitude of serene and smiling stone faces on the many towers which jut out from the upper terrace and cluster around its central peak.

Moving to the next temple nearby, the Terrace of the Elephants, an impressive, two and a half-meter tall, 300-meter long terrace wall adorned with carved elephants and garudas spanning the front of Baphuon, Phimeanakas and the Royal Palace area at the heart of Angkor Thom. Then, you will also see the Terrace of the Leper King which is at the north end of the Terrace of the Elephants.

Ta Prohm's state of ruin is a state of beauty. You will be amazed by the spectacular scene of banyan and kapok trees spreading their gigantic roots over stones, probing walls and terraces apart, as their branches and leaves intertwine to form a roof over the structures. Trunks of trees twist amongst stone pillars.

Angkor Wat is visually, architecturally and artistically breathtaking and you will be guided to see the most fascinating temple and largest religious monument on earth. Nearly 2,000 distinctively rendered Apsara carvings adorn the walls throughout the temple and represent some of the finest examples of Apsara carvings in Angkorian-era art.

Last but not least, you will climb up the hill of Phnom Bakheng, the best place to see the sunset as the temple is located right on the very top. As a bonus, you'll also get to see the amazing Angkor Wat complex from a distance, and at high elevation.
Duration: 8 hours

Day 2: Grand Circle or Grand Tour

Stop At: Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat, Siem Reap 17259 Cambodia
Time: 08:00 – 17:00 (Can be discussed)

This is the second day option of Siem Reap tour after the first day option of Angkor Wat tour as part of Cambodia tour packages.

Our professional Angkor Wat tour guide will wait you at the hotel lobby and ready to take you off throughout another day of the Grand Circle temple tour in Siem Reap including Preah Khan temple, Neak Pean, and Ta Som.

Begin with Preah Khan, you will be guided to see this huge temple complex that was once the temporary residence of King Jayavarman VII and the temple itself was also built to dedicate for the King’s father.

Then you will proceed to Neak Pean, a large square pool surrounded by four other pools. In the middle of the pool there's an 'island' with two coiling naga serpents. Neak Pean is best to visit in the rainy season when the pools are full.

The last temple to visit on your second full day option of Siem Reap tour itinerary is the Ta Som temple – a small and quiet Buddhist temple. There were huge trees at the entrances, which made for great photos taken.

Out of the Grand Circle visit, you will be also taken to a number of temples nearby such as Pre Rub, Srah Srang, and Eastern Mebon.
*Note: If you only have one day to choose for this option, you can include your temple tour with Banteay Srei, loosely translates to ‘citadel of the women,’ but this is a modern appellation that wows the visitors by the delicate beauty of the carvings.
Duration: 8 hours

Day 3: Roluos Group & Others

Stop At: Bakong, Roluos, Siem Reap Cambodia
Time: 08:00 – 17:00 (Can be discussed)

Last but not least, this is the third full day option of Siem Reap tour after the second day option of the Grand Circle.

Your professional Siem Reap tour guide will be ready to take you to the journey of the Roluos Group and other local areas.

Preah Ko will be the first temple of the day to start with. This funerary temple for King Jayavarman II has six towers that were all built on one platform. The name Preah Ko, Sacred Bull, was taken from the three bull statues around the temple. This temple has some of the better preserved plasterwork on its towers.

Then, you will continue to Lolei consisting of Four Brick Towers on a double laterite platform in the middle of the Lolei Baray where you will see some lintel carvings displaying the distinctively detailed Preah Ko style.

The third and last temple among Roluos Group is the Bakong which is the main highlight, largest and most interesting of the three. It is surrounded by a moat, and was one of the first Angkorian temples to use the temple mountain architecture idea. That idea was then used for hundreds of years.

After lunch, just getting around some of the local areas of Siem Reap where you will visit the Floating Village at Tonle Sap Lake (we only recommend you to go from October to February when the water level is high enough or email us for more information), Angkor Silk Farm, the French Quarter of Psah Chas (Old Market), War Museum, Cultural Village, and other attractions depending on your time and choice you make.
