Prepare yourself to get swept-away on this great ATV/ Quad Bike to adventure and discover at Prei Monti Temple (quiet temple but the history and beauty of this site speaks volumes. It was built in the 9th century, which is older than Angkor Wat. It was one of the locations where the award-winning Netflix movie “First They Killed My Father” (directed by Angelina Jolie) was shot in 2015. This temple was built by King Jayavarman II, who once established this temple-city as the center of the capital.

Experience the countryside and historical highlights beyond the streets of Siem Reap. 4-hours adventure, you will ride through rural villages, beautiful Buddhist temples,school, marvel at the great landscape of the vast rice fields and Pre Monti Temple.

You can choose to ride solo or tandem (2 people on one quad bike) for your adventure. If you wish to ride tandem please select the tandem option for one adult when booking. To experience beautiful sunset opt for starting your tour at 2:30PM.

Stop At: Prasat Prei, West Baray, Siem Reap Cambodia

Start your 4 hour quad bike discovery adventure at Prei Monti with a complimentary tuk tuk pick-up from your accommodation and head to our office for a quick familiarization training and safety briefing. For our familiarization training you will practice around 10 minutes on your quad bike to make sure that you are comfortable with operating the vehicle. Before heading off on your off-road countryside adventure helmets, and face masks are provided.

You can opt to take this tour in the morning or afternoon both options provide (for the afternoon tour, you will also included with sunset view) a unique experience of Cambodia. We begin our 4-hour adventure tour with a thrilling quad bike experience. Venture out of the busy city streets of Siem Reap and discover the beauty of the Cambodian countryside on board an easy-to-drive quad bike. Zip along country roads, past lush rice paddies, local schools, Buddhist temples, and charming sleepy villages filled with the ever-smiling faces of the locals. Have your cameras ready because you will have plenty of opportunities to take those one of a kind, rustic pictures. Authenticity at its finest!

After you have mastered the road on your quad bike, you will arrive at the temple called Prei Monti that is away from the popular tourist sites. Prei Monti is a quiet temple but the history and beauty of this site speaks volumes. It was built in the 9th century, so it is older than Angkor Wat. It was one of the locations where the award-winning Netflix movie “First They Killed My Father” (directed by Angelina Jolie) was shot in 2015. Prei Monti was built by King Jayavarman II, who once established this temple-city as the center of the capital of Cambodia after he moved down from Kulen Mountain. Spend some time exploring and enjoying the temple while sipping on a nice cold drink and cold towel refreshments. Picture opportunities are plentiful!

Stop At: Chhreav Local Market, Bos Taret, Krong Siem Reap, Cambodia

For afternoon departures, the sunset view is also included. So you will spend 1 hour ride from Prei Monti to Chreav Village in order to see the sunset. On the way to Chreav Village, you will also visit Buddhist Monastery (age 200 years) for 15 minutes.

Your quad bike adventure chief guide will find a beautiful place to stop to see the sunset in the majestic rice paddies. You will watch the sun go down behind the rice fields. Relax with a cold refreshing drink of choice for 30 minutes. After relaxing for a while, we will drive back to our office using a different route to ensure that guest get an all-around experience of the rural gems of the Siem Reap countryside.
