Stop At: Wat Phnom, Street 96 Norodom Blvd, Phnom Penh Cambodia

Learn about the origins of Phnom Penh at this temple on a hill. Join ZIN and find your good luck by paying respect at the temple. This is the oldest temple in Phnom Penh and frequently visited by the locals seeking good fortune. As a bonus, hear about the one French national buried at Wat Phnom and his life as an enforcer in the opium world of the 1880s.

Stop At: Chinese House, St Preah Sisowath Quay, Phnom Penh 12201, Cambodia

After Wat Phnom, ZIN will take you through the historic European quarter of Phnom Penh. This will include stops at 1) the site of the former Monument Aux Morts (WWI monument), 2) Memorial for Journalists lost during the Vietnam War, 3) former site of the Sisters of Providence orphanage (now used for housing), 4) remains of a Chinese meeting hall (19th century), 5) a 1930s school building, 6) the former Citroen dealer, 7) a Chinese temple (Hokkien temple) (tracing back to 1887) and 8) the iconic Chinese House (1903-1905).
