Kampong Trach Mountain Exploration

Join us for a relaxing and scenic scooter tour to Kampong Trach! View the magnificent caves and mountains of this beautiful province, located approximately 70 kilometers away from Kampot city.

Stop 1: The Visit to the Salt Farm

We begin the first stop at the beautiful looking, salt field. It is the best way to learn the interesting mix of Cambodia’s salt product. Your guide is ready to tell you the many relevant information of the only located salt area in Cambodia.

Stop 2: Village and Farming Activities

Be aware to let your tour guide know that you would like to inturn 15 minutes local experience as making mates or planting rice with local people. There are many places you can stop for pictures, relaxing, and trying some local foods!

Stop 3: Buddhist Temple and Primary School

After capturing a nice view of the green paddy fields and experiencing some local activities, you get to learn more about religions in the past and present. Your guide will take you to visit Wat Tropang Chrey where a small primary school also located inside next to it. Be prepared to learn more about the religious revolution from the ancient era to the present.

Stop 4: Kampong Trach Caves Exploration

The next stop is the cave time! Your guide will ride you off the beaten track in the small path to see the amazing caves on top! There are several caves you get to capture its view and the legendary behind. There is a secret swimming cave you can sometimes jump for a great swimming, but make sure you have your swimming clothes with you!

Stop 5: The Cambodian Cuisines

We bet you might be hungry after a great exploring! Your guide will take to a nice local restaurant nearby the mountain! Be sure to select your own Khmer menu; the choice is yours!

Stop 6: Scooter Trails Dirt and Dust!

After a delicious lunch, you will have a great nape in the hammock where the windy mountain allows you to have a peaceful sleep! In the end, you will ride back on the main road straight back to the departure point.
