Adventure Rafting on the Ottawa River
Medium intensity requires active paddling within your 12-person raft. Your guide is at the back of the raft steering with 9 foot oars. The oars provide increased precision and power for choosing the best line down the rapids and for surfing.
Itinerary
Our Adventure Rafts are perfect for participants who want that extra bit of excitement and are over the 90lbs/41kg weight requirement. You will begin your day with an in-depth briefing which outlines all important safety considerations and personal protective equipment. Afterwards, we'll transport you and your group to our river put-in where you'll meet your guide and board your raft. Roughly 4.5 hours of whitewater adventure awaits you as you travel the same route as the voyaguers hundreds of years ago. At the end of your rafting trip, you'll meet our pontoon boat where we will serve you a freshly cooked BBQ meal, along with a variety of salads and other treats. Vegetarian and gluten free options are available upon request. Once you return to the OWL Resort, you will view your trip through the lens of our video kayaker, who records all the rafting fun.
