Your tour starts in late morning with hotel pickup from your Yellowknife hotel. Afterward, drive on the ice road to one of Yellowknife's secluded ice fishing locations. A safety briefing and demonstration of proper use of equipment follows. Sit back if you wish and watch your reel as you are on your journey to capture one hungry fish.
Experience ice fishing at its best in a comfortable heated ice-fishing shack. After your ice fishing experience, enjoy light fish lunch made from local fish from Great Slave lake. Alternatively, experience ice fishing casting your fishing line from outside tent at 8" drilled hole on the frozen Great Slave Lake. A light fish lunch provided afterwards in heated fishing tents.
During the ice fishing tour, your guide will share some knowledge to increase your chances to catch fish.
