Keji Southern Lakes Canoe Trip - 4 Day
This canoe trip is best suited for folks who are looking for a longer trip, dont mind long days with long portages and who are looking for remote campsites, excellent swimming and extraordinary scenery.
Similar to our 3-day version, but offering an added day for exploration and relaxing, this extended Keji Southern Lakes canoe trip is an excellent opportunity to see the other, less visited side of the park. Sandy beaches, blue lakes and rocky shores set the backdrop for this adventure. My favourite sites are all on southern lakes- come see why.
Itinerary
Day 1: First Day
Stop At: Kejimkujik National Park & National Historic Site, 3005 Main Pky Maitland Bridge, Kejimkujik National Park, Nova Scotia B0T 1B0 Canada
Arrive at Whynot Adventure 11:30am - 12:30pm. Meet guide/group, lunch, pack canoes. Paddle across Kejimkujik Lake, begin series of portages. Paddle to camp, set-up, campfire dinner, enjoy evening.

Day 2: Second Day
Stop At: Kejimkujik National Park & National Historic Site, 3005 Main Pky Maitland Bridge, Kejimkujik National Park, Nova Scotia B0T 1B0 Canada
Start day with french press coffee, hot campfire breakfast. Break-down and pack-up camp, re-pack canoes. Navigate medium lakes and portages, work deeper into park .Stop for lunch and swim, continue exploring. Find evenings camp, set-up, enjoy dinner, relax and sleep.

Day 3: Third Day

Start day with french press coffee, hot campfire breakfast. Break-down and pack-up camp, re-pack canoes. Begin working towards Mountain Lake, enjoy lunch on the shore. Find campsite along the way, set-up, cook dinner, relax.

Day 4: Last Day

Start day with french press coffee, hot campfire breakfast. Break-down and pack-up camp, re-pack canoes. Work back towards Keji Lake, enjoy lunch on the shore. Paddle back to Whynot Adventure for approx. 2pm.
