Kicksled Tours with Huskies On Great Slave Lake
Kicksledding is a unique experience that we have added the enjoyment of being assisted by huskies. You are in control of your own kicksled and dogs. Each guest has their own kicksled and with one or two dogs pulling on your command. This allows for a more personal experience and for you to meet and play with your sled dog. Children may ride on the same sled as their parents.
Itinerary
Your adventure begins at the Sundog Adventures log cabin located in historic Old Town on Back Bay. You will take part in a brief orientation session to understand your kicksled and the dog pulling you. You will learn to use your kicksled alone at first, then with your dog. When you are ready, you and the rest of the group will begin your adventures. We stop half way at the Back Bay Cemetary and visit the ice wall for photographs. Our tour finishes back at our log cabin with a warm beverage.
