Lake Trout Fishing
The Barren Lands in the NWT are seen by less than .001% of the Canadian population. Think about this, the NWT is bigger than Texas, California, and Montana combined, but with only .0006% of the combined population. You will experience 24 hour daylight in July till mid August. From mid August you will see Aurora Borealis on clear sky nights. The journey to the Canadian Arctic Barren Lands is so compelling, you will never be the same. The stark landscape void of trees creates startling beauty that must be experienced. We have it all, huge Lake Trout and huge Arctic Grayling Fishing, average temperature are 65-70 degrees which is great weather to enjoy boating, hiking, and relaxing. We accommodate maximum 24 guests and we are located in what is described by biologists as one of the few pristine locations left, with clear water that lets you see 50-60 feet down into the water. The land is Canadian Shield rock, and tundra that is devoid of trees, we are 110 miles north of the tree line.
