Mount Athabasca Ascent - 1.5 Days
This is one of the most popular peaks we guide in the Rocky Mountains, and can often be a busy objective through the weekends of the summer season. For this peak, we only allow a maximum of 6 Guests to minimize congestion and maintain safety margins. Other operations can often send upwards of 20+ people to the summit on a single day. For this ascent especially, we feel this often compromises saftey and leads to a lesser quality of guest experience. We'll work with you to pick timings that facilitate quieter times on the peak that give you the best chance of a safe and enjoyable experience on the ascent.
Itinerary
This program requires an intermediate level of fitness. A full day, early start, and climbing to almost 3500m can all be taxing both physically and mentally.
