Our Tourist Scavenger Hunt takes you from the Chateau Frontenac to the Civilization Museum, up Parliament Hill and every attraction in between them. You will have to solve challenges at every step to discover your next destination. As well, you will learn a little history and other interesting facts such as the best restaurants along the way.

This little park across the street from the Samuel de Champlain Monument and Château Frontenac used to be a drill square when this area was a fort. An archeology challenge awaits you here.

Underneath Place d'Armes and Terraces Dufferin are the archeological remains of the Fort and Castle Saint-Louis dating back to 1620.

This is the quick way down to the Petit Champlain historic neighborhood. However, your scavenger hunt will take you down the long way as there is much to see.

This small park is full of statues and overlooks the St. Lawrence River. It's been a cemetery, a military site, and a place of religious and civil power.

One of the six gates that have guarded the fortified city of Quebec over the years. You will have an observational challenge here.

This little and historic district is at the foot of Chateau Frontenac and near the St.Lawrence river.

Emplacement of a former battery which defended the city from the British. There's a historical challenge here.

This giant wall mural relates 400 years of history with most key figures in the province of Quebec's history. Your challenge here will be to identify a particular person on the mural with the help of the signs around you.

This boutique hotel stands over the ruins of the initial port of Quebec. You can see some of the structure on our scavenger hunt route, as well as the water line at a few different years in Quebec's history.

This large museum in Quebec's lower town (basse-ville) presents diverse exhibits from the First Nations to modern Quebec. Your challenge here will have you looking at the street signs.

You'll find here a large art structure honoring the birthplace (here) of the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization in 1945.

This building was erected to house various exhibits and functions, initially to celebrate Quebec's 400th birthday in 2008. The challenge here will see if you've been paying attention.

This very large hospital was founded in 1639 and is the oldest in the Americas.
You'll have a math challenge to solve here.

This small park was originally part of Quebec city's fortification. It now has a large Celtic Cross donated by Ireland in recognition to Quebec welcoming many Irish children during the famine.

From atop this gate, you'll begin to see the National Assembly building and a few more monuments.

This is the last gate you will see on this scavenger hunt. Through it, you can go see the National Assembly. The Challenge here involves Winston Churchill and Franklin D. Roosevelt

This fountain in the front of the National Assembly is seen from the fortifications and was installed to commemorate Quebec city's 400th anniversary.

This is the Province of Quebec's government which you can see from the Fortifications at the Kent Gate and Saint-Louis Gate.

Here you'll see the Ursulines school, chapel, and museum, as well as learn about this order of nuns.
